Dientes de Navarino Trek

Pudahuel, Chile - 6d

Located at the southern end of Chile's Tierra del Fuego archipelago, Navarino Island is not only home to some of the most pristine and breathtaking natural landscapes in South America, but also to a trek that is quite unique, and not only because it is considered the southernmost trek in the world!

The 53km circuit winds around the Dientes de Navarino mountain range (or "Navarino's Teeth", given the jagged shape of its peaks), in one of the most pristine ecoregions on the planet.

It is undoubtedly a demanding trek and not suitable for the faint-hearted (nor children under 12). Only about 200 trekking enthusiasts tackle it each year, and not all of them finish it...!
Whether you complete all or part of it, this trek is an experience you will continue to talk about for years to come. The beauty of the landscapes will be difficult to describe, but also to forget.
